Meet my love bug, KONA. KONA spent the first four months of her life at a commercial pet store in a mall. This pet store, like many others at the time in Los Angeles, were selling dogs for profit, and supporting puppy mills, which breed dogs irresponsibly.
Thankfully, these stores were forced to close or offer only animals from shelters, rescue groups and non-profits. We rescued KONA the day before her shop was forced to close. She joined our family, which included our two other rescue dogs, Hana and Bebe, and it's been 'happily ever after' ever since! @lululambros
