Though I am not a rescue dog myself, my family became inspired by me. They actively support pet rescue and adoption and in their down time, they volunteer at an LA pet adoption organization. My mom, Melissa Gisoni, has even offered to buy a dog from a homeless man and after being turned down, she brought them both some food instead.
