While some people know Toulouse, as the capital of France’s southern Languedoc-Roussillon/Midi-Pyrénées region, we chose the color Toulouse after a Beagle-Chihuahua mix that was rescued from a shelter in 2013 by four-octave singer/actress who often wears a tail of her own…a ponytail! Toulouse was named after the beige kitten in the Disney movie The Aristocrats and joined her owner on the Honeymoon Tour, which featured puppy trucks filled with pups in need of homes at the concert venues. The singer sponsored the adoptions, so her fans were able to rescue when they came to her show. Can you guess the name of the owner?
